Does Dr. Meow replace a vet?
No. Dr. Meow is a between-visit wellness tool. It helps you notice small changes sooner and gives you documented health history to share with your vet. For anything urgent or concerning, contact your veterinarian directly.
What does the AI actually analyze?
Dr. Meow's AI reads five dimensions from a single photo: coat condition (luster, texture, matting), body condition on the standard 1–9 veterinary scale, eye clarity (cloudiness, discharge, redness), mood (posture, ear position, facial expression), and an overall wellness score from 1 to 10. The AI also flags specific observations worth monitoring. Vet guidance is grounded in a knowledge base that includes AAFP-sourced guidelines.
Are my cat's photos stored or shared?
No. Your full-resolution photo is sent to a secure AI service for analysis and deleted immediately after the scan completes. It is never stored on our servers, sold, or used for advertising. A small thumbnail is saved to your device for your journal. Your journal data stays on your device and is never uploaded to Dr. Meow's servers.
